Hayward Tyler Inc and its sister firm Energy Steel have been awarded multi-million dollar contracts to help the ITER project in France.

The ITER project is a joint worldwide research and improvement project to show the scientific and technical feasibility of fusion energy. The demonstration facility is under development in St-Paul-lez-Durance in France, and would be the largest fusion experimental reactor on the planet.
Hayward Tyler’s booster pumps shall be an integral a half of the drying system for the Tokamak Cooling Water System (TCWS). The pumps might be designed, constructed and tested at Hayward Tyler Inc in Colchester, Vermont, USA.
Hayward Tyler and Energy Steel are each part of the Engineered Pumps and Motors Division of Avingtrans plc.
