เกจวัดแรงดันปั๊มลม leading Kenyan warehouse and logistics service supplier Cold Solutions, says it will make investments USD 70 million to assemble the most important cold chain facility in East Africa to address challenges that face transportation of perishable items.
Cold Solution’s 15,000 sqm flagship facility in Tatu City Special Economic Zone in Nairobi would be the largest, most superior and efficient in the region. The chilly chain facility is flexibly designed to cater for numerous temperature ranges from +26 to -40 C and a number of product ranges, from recent fruit and greens, to pharmaceuticals and vaccines, meats and poultry, and frozen foods.
Cold Solutions Kenya is a portfolio firm of ARCH Cold Chain Solutions East Africa Fund, a non-public equity fund suggested by ARCH Emerging Markets Partners Limited (ARCH).
“Cold Solutions’ one-stop-shops are designed to allow companies to keep track of products in real-time and facilitate transportation across East Africa via temperature-controlled vehicles, both inside the internal metropolis or to long-haul locations,” said Jared Irving, Managing Director, ARCH.

The United Nations’ Food and Agriculture Organization estimates that over 40% of food in Sub-Saharan Africa perishes earlier than it reaches a consumer. This can be as excessive as 60% for contemporary produce in Sub-Saharan Africa.
